First appeared in China, Vivo Philippines managed to bring in their new T phone series with two available options. As the said series is going towards gaming, we checked the one with 5G connectivity - Vivo T1 5G.
You can check our unboxing and first look of official commercial unit of Vivo T1 5G in the Philippines thru the video below:
We were a bit surprised that compared to our previous Vivo V23 5G review, we got the same feels of it's Funtouch OS but we felt that it is a bit faster with it's already proven Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor plus 8 GB RAM.
Connectivity? We had no problems on calls, texts. Bluetooth, GPS and especially 5G mobile data as we had no spiked when brought this device to Bonifacio Global City. We only missed that you cannot use two sims and micro SD at the same tray coz it is a hybrid dual sim set-up
With the given processor, Vivo T1 5G scored on Antutu at around 535,000+ on normal mode and over 539,000 on performance mode.
On battery, Vivo T1 5G survived on 31 hours and 20 minutes in our video battery rundown test (first time to see over 30 hours this 2022) . Using it as our main driver in heavy usage, we are getting between 1.25 to 1.5 days of average usage. Charging from 0 to 100$
Another surprise for us that even that it's inclined as a gaming-centric phone, we were glad that T1 5G produced very good outputs on various photo and video as we even used it for a YT video coverage here . Color processing were great as well as the image processing. We had no problems even on almost all on lighting conditions. If to compared to V23 5G, we only missed the ultrawide video mode and various filters but it can shoot up to 4K

Vivo T1 5G normal to 50 MP camera comparison

Extras: Speakers were loud and clear and one of the best high midrangers that has very good audio on Bluetooth. In-display fingerprint reader also works fine.
Pros: Camera, price, display, battery and charging
Cons: Hybrid dual sim set-up, no ultrawide option on video.
Vivo T1 5G has an SRP of Php 16,999 which can be a no-brainer against on their own stablemates like the entire Vivo V23 series which can go up to Php 6,000-Php 7,000 more. That price is a-ok to me to miss V23 5G's few camera features especially ultrawide video and various video camera filters
For us, Vivo T1 5G is 4.5 out of 5 and it is currently selling on Vivo official store on Shopee.
