realme GT Master Edition Unboxing, Review (Official Commercial Unit)

We finally made it for our first realme GT verdict and it is special that we got the official commercial unit for realme GT Master Edition

You can check out unboxing and first look of official commercial unit of realme GT Master Edition. We did not chose the Naoto Fukasawa variant for a change.

Nothing changed from the first realme device that we tried with realme UI 2.0 but faster on thius realme GT thanks to Snapdragon 778G processor even that we tuned to 120 Hz display.

On connectivity, we had no problems in all from calls, VoLTE, texts, 5G and 4G mobile data, GPS and Bluetooth.

Out of 256 Gb internal storage, the phone left us with 236.1 GB remaining for your media and app storage.

With 4300 mAh battery and it's FHD+ display, realme GT Master Edition survived in our video battery rundown test in 29 hours and 50 minutes which is more than an hour short of a phone that we tested with Dimensity 1100. With 65 watt Superdart charger, we can easily top this phone from 0 to 100% percent in under 40 minutes. No heating inside the phone while charging. A few hours of difference on our real time usage when we used this device on both locked on 60 and 120 Hz refresh rate so I'll advise you to go 120 Hz if you can. Battery usage for us in heavy mode usually get us at around 1.25 days in average.

Here are the Antutu scores below with both 60 and 120 Hz refresh rate modes. Not that much changes.

For a high midranger with almost near flagship performance, realme GT Master has a lot of what you can do on the camera app from videos ranging from HD to 4K (plus various options to 60 fps), lots of AI-powered video options which you can only have blue color in a particular blue object or subject. In photo, realme GT Master has brought us almost above average photo quality in all of the camera modes that we pitched except if you are doing a selfie in a very low light mode.

realme GT Master Edition is currently priced for Php 18990 (128 GB) and the one that we had for this review,, 256 GB at Php 21,990. With very fast charging, up to 120 Hz refresh rate on display, above average performance on processor, video, photo and connectivity - realme GT Master is something that we can recommend without spending that much on a more expensive flagship phone. Could have been better if they maxed out the phone to 5000 mAh battery which is already a norm to most of realme phones. For us, it is 4.5 out of 5 for realme GT Master Edition.
