Full disclosure (not sure if it is the same case to earlier local reviews) that Samsung Philippines only provided us a rare 3 GB RAM/32 GB ROM version of it
The saving grace that we got the lower variant over the lowest commerical version and Mediatek processor was One UI 3 which we prove that it was a lot lighter than the number of previous custom Samsung Android versions that we handled. Transitions and a light multi tasking that we do was a-ok .
Connectivity was good on this device, no complains on calls (we did not have a chance to confirm it has VoLTE support), texts, mobile data, WiFi (single band only) and GPS. It' s Bluetooth audio is just average in quality and slow in pairing and transfer
Surprised that Galaxy A12 did some average quality shots from various lighting situations that we threw in (except that for it's price, it's a given that it is not a good night shooter) . Color accuracy was more than acceptable to us including the selfies. Image processing was also fast despite of it's entry-level Mediatek processor.

Unfortunately with this date, Samsung PH still not dropping the price of Samsung Galaxy A12 at Php 7990 (4 GB RAM/64 GB ROM, the nearest to our 3/32 review unit) and it was a bad choice for the given specs compare to the likes of Cherry Mobile S10 Pro or even global brands like Redmi 10 and realme C25s at only Php 500 more but with a lot better in the specs sheet. Good thing that One Ui 3 and camera was a-ok for an entry-level Samsung phone (but we think that A02s is better than A12). For us, I will gonna give 3.25 out of 5 (huge turndown for the price) for Samsung Galaxy A12 is still available in online and offline channels.
