EastWest’s Free InstaPay Service Extended This July

As the country strives to make progress with the health crisis, one of the behaviors that developed into a beneficial new norm is digital transactions.

Most purchases and fund transfers can be accomplished online, which is why universal bank EastWest plays its part in making the process as seamless and cost-efficient as possible for its customers.

Having said that, EastWest extended its free InstaPay service via EastWest Online and Mobile until July 31, 2021 to empower customers to easily send money to any local bank for free anytime, anywhere. Its PESONet service meantime, remains free.

With InstaPay, customers can transfer up to PHP 50,000 per transaction, which will be credited instantly to the recipient’s account in any local bank.

EastWest’s PESONet service allows customers to conveniently send larger amounts of up to PHP 2,000,000, to be credited within the same banking day (subject to cut-off) in just a single transfer. The transfer limit of up to PHP 2,000,000 stands as one of the highest transfer limits among banks in the Philippines.

“Our customers’ convenience and safety are always at the core of every service we provide, especially during these challenging times,” EastWest Senior Vice President-Regional Banking Group Ivy Uy said. “We hope that our extended free InstaPay and PESONet services will go a long way in helping our customers send money to their loved ones or beneficiaries hassle-free.”

Access InstaPay and PESONet by downloading the EastWest Mobile app from Google Play, the Apple App Store, or Huawei's Media Gallery or log in to EastWest Online at personal.eastwestbanker.com.
