JBL Quantum 100 Unboxing, Review
Aside from Clip 4, we also took the chance on another JBL product that we missed almost a year and the most affordable so far in the latest gaming-centric wired headset, JBl Quantum 100
Here's our unboxing and first impresssions of this gaming-centtric headset:
Like what you saw on the video above, we got the blue version of it. The flex is comfortable on both the headset itself and the cups. The cup covers are not cloth-like (faux leather) which our concern for possible breakages. We are not sure if there are legit resources for cup cover replacement/s.
Sound-wise, we can easily tell that the JBL Signature Sound is still there on this budget Quantum headset. There are indicators for the let and right cup. The JBL:logo at the top is also one of our faves in terms of design.
The braided-like wires is also a plus which addes a lil premium to it. The mic is detachable but sound quality wise, you can easily hear that it is a budget headset as even a BM 800 microphone is a lot better sounding compared to it. (We will embed the video comparisons later). By the way, one of the ear cups has volume wheels for easy volume controls
The official price of JBL Quantum 100 in the Philippines is Php 2399 (but it can go as low as Php 1611 when we checked it on Shopee). If you are a newbie in the hunt for gaming-centric headsets and you only knew or trust JBL then this JBL Quantum 100 is for you in terms of comfort, style and sound. Two things of concern for us is the possible cup cover replacements (and if it is really replaceable) and the mic which we might gonna see and hear on more better-sounding mics with other gaming headsets within the said SRP.
For us, it's 3.5 out of 5 for JBL Quantum 100.
