We are just on the second day of a month-long virtual Computex 2021 and AMD just dropped some announcements, one of those is the additional need for more power in their Ryzen CPUs with APUs as answer for for those still high prices of dedicated graphics cards.
Earlier this morning, they announced AMD Ryzen 5600G and AMD Ryzen 5700G thru a scheduled livestream event.
Ryzen 5 5600G has 6 cores, 12 threads with base clock of 3.9 GHz up to 4.4 GHz, 7 CUs at 1.9 Ghz and 65 watt TDP. Ryzen 5700G has 8 cores, 16 threads with base clock of 3.8 GHz up to 4.6 GHz, 8 CUs aat 2 GHz and also has the same TDP.
Both AMD Ryzen 5600G and AMD Ryzen 5700G will be available this August 5 for USD 259 and USD 359 respectively.
