Xiaomi started their global campaign this 2021 with their official online introductions of Redmi Note 9T 5G and Redmi 9T
Both of these smartphones have 6.53 inch Full HD+ display, IR blaster, and side fingerprint reader which acts as a power/unlock button, headphone jack, IR blaster, USB Type C port and dual speakers.
Redmi Note 9T 5G is their first 5G-capable phone on the Redmi Note series. In the specs sheet, Redmi Note 9T 5G has Mediatek Dimensity 800U processor, triple main cameras composed of 48 MP main sensor, 4 GB RAM, dual nano SIM, micro SD slot, 4 GB RAM and 5000 mAh battery with 18 watt charging support.
As you may have guessed it on the name, Redmi 9T does not have 5G but on LTE. Redmi 9T specs include Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, dual nano sim with dedicated micro SD up to 512 GB, quad main cameras composed of 48 MP primary shooter, 13 MP selfie camera, 4 GB RAM and 6000 mAh battery with 18 watt charging support but with 22.5 watt charger out of the box. Color choices re carbon gray, twilight blue, sunrise orange and ocean green.
The official global prices of Redmi Note 9T 5G are at 229 (64 GB) and 269 (128 GB) euros. It's a bit of mix-up on the SRPs of Redmi 9T as there are with and without NFC support. The non-NFC versions are at 159 (64 GB) and 189 (128 GB) euros). Just add 10 euros to the ones with NFC.
No official words yet on the official release of these smartphones in the Philippines
