Tecno Spark 6 Go Unboxing, Review

Another "spark" has brought in at our hub from our friends at Tecnno Mobile Philippines.

Meet the Tecno Spark 6 Go. As you may already know that there are two versions of it, we were liucky that we got the highest at 4 GB RAM/64 GB ROM. This is what the official box looks like.

The back part of the box with some of the device's key specs. You can see more at the side.

At first, you may think at first that it looks like the one phone in milky white version but not when we saw those patterned back design when you put in some light. The rear fingerprint reader is a no-brainer at this budget phone but it was a welcome move that the back cover is removable so that you put in the dual nano SIMs and micro SD slot.

The package also comes with their claimed 12+1 month warranty, micro USB cable earphones, hard phone case and 5V 2A charger

The UI has no difference with what we saw on Tecno Spark 5 which has resemblance from XOS of their sister brand including app freeze. Still as one of our cons, we saw of bloat apps in here that you cannot remove them all.

The good news is the given processor can still run enough for some heavy multi tasking that we did. Connectivity was good on calls, texts, mobile data, WiFi and Bluetooth.

With Mediatek Helio P22 processor, Tecno Spark 6 Go scored nicely at over 93000 on Antutu

With 5000 mAh battery compared to other competitors with the same battery capacity that can last over 40 hours on video battery rundown test, the battery performance of Spark 6 Go might needs some improvement as it only lasted for less than 24 hours despite that we got a system update. Using it in real life usage in heavy mode, we can only use this for around 30 hours. I hope the next OTA will gonna fix this one soon. Charging time took us at aroud 2 1/2 hours

On camera UI and overall camera performance, at least this one made an a-ok quality for a budget Spark 6 Go. Selfies and most of our indoor shots that we took gave some justice from AI to HDR on. Like on other budget handsets, it was mostly a miss on the bokeh feature even though we followed the instructions.

Here are the camera samples:

Tecno Spark 6 Go has my recommendation for it's price at memory configuration, connectivity, camera, performance and UI. We didn't like some of things like bloatware, the mostly miss bokeh mode and hoping for better showing on the battery department.

Tecno Spark 6 Go is priced at Php 5490 (4/64). For us, it will be 4 out of 5.

The thorough unpacking review of the Tecno Spark 6 Go, which illuminates the contents of the original box and highlights features like the micro SD card and detachable rear cover for dual SIMs, is well appreciated by MobilezMarket. The unpacking experience is enhanced by the presence of accessories like earbuds and a hard phone cover.
