realme C15 Unboxing, Review (Official Commercial Unit)

Late but not out (as we have to blame one logistics partner for the delay) but at least we got to verdict this OFFICIAL COMMERCIAL UNIT from realme Philippines.

Meet the realme C15 in limited Squad edition which is only available in Lazada Philippines. How does it fair compared to the other C's like C11 and C12?

Check our unpacking of the official commercial unit of realme C15 thru this video below:

As we did not have that deep dive on C11 and C12, the nearest comparison that we can give to this is realme C3. The UI was the same as to the other C smartphone based from around a week that we checked on this one. As we already had an idea on Mediatek Helio G35 SoC, yes from some heavy navigation and  even just for single tapping an app or doing a screenshot, the said SoC was a way stepback to G70 of C3. Display was a-ok for this budget midranger.

On connectivity, it was all fine on calls, texts, WiFi (2.4 GHz only), Bluetooth and mobile data.

Battery will be the main headliner of realme C15 with 1000 mAh more than their usual 5000 mAh counterparts. On our video battery rundown test, it almost lasted for almost 2 days at 41 hours and 15 minutes. Using it on heavy usage, it was an easy 3-day phone to us.

On extras, good to know that the rear fingerprint sensor is a lot better compared to realme 6i which we had some issues. Not sure coz it has a bigger battery but happy to know that realme C15 does not have a camera bump. It was just right as you cannot have a protective case out of the box. It took us around 3 hours to charge the device with its micro USB port and 9V 2A charger.

On Antutu, the performance mode scored at 111,782. Around 109,000 when we tested it on normal mode. Indeed like what we said earlier, it was a stepback over the Helio G70

For our camera samples, it was a perfect scenario in a gloomy The Outlets at Lipa which will pull off it it is a good auto shooter for the asking price. Imaging procesing speed at quality were a-ok given that the primary shooter has f/2.2 and for the selfie cam, it's f/2,0. The other three accompanying cameras were a hit or miss for us so we did not include it on our samples here. (Video samples to follow)

realme C15 can be said as the highest variant so far (with the same SoC with C11 and C12) but with the processor experience and if it is your priority, we would advise the realme C3 instead with even Php 1000 less. realme C15 is noy a bad phone as you can have 64 GB internal storage, no camera bump, good enough sensors for the price and that huge 6000 mAh battery or can be a nice 3-day smartphone for you in case you are in the wild and do not have either a powerbank or access to a power outlet. Some lag issues must be fixed soon. For us, it's 3.75 out of 5 for realme C15
