In an online announcement, AMD formally introduced the new Ryzen 5000 desktop series of processors which is based on Zen 3 architecture
Their headliner is Ryzen 9 5900X which they claim as 26% faster than the Ryzen 3900X on average of around 10+ games that they compared. In Cinebench, it scored at 631. Ryzen 9 5900X has 12 cores, 24 threads that can up to 4.8 GHz boost. 70 MB L2 + L3 cache and 105 watt TDP
They also added Ryxen 9 5950X which has 16 cores, 32 threads, up to 4.9 GHz boost, 72 MB cache and also 105 watt TDP
To complete the line-up, they will gonna have Ryzen 5800X with 8 cores, 16 threads, base clock of 3.8 GHz and boost up to 4.7 GHz at 105 W TDP and the base Ryzen 5 5600X with 6 cores, 12 threads, base clock of 3.7 GHz and boost of up to 4.6 GHz and 65 watt TDP. Only the 5600X will have a stock cooler out of the box.
