Smart Expands Digital Channels For Load, Gadget Availability

Leading mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc (Smart) is expanding its suite of digital and non-contact distribution channels in order to address customer needs and requests more efficiently and safely amid the pandemic.

Customers can simply go to the Smart Online Store to order phones and internet devices, apply or renew postpaid plans, buy Smart and TNT prepaid e-load and mobile data bundles as well as postpaid data boosters. The more tech-savvy users can also log on to their smartphones and buy load or pay bills via the PayMaya app.

Online shoppers can also visit e-commerce platforms like Lazada to top up their prepaid phones. In fact, for each purchase of P500 load through Lazada, Smart will donate P50 to support the Philippine Red Cross through the Give Back with Giga campaign. The same campaign was also done for Shopee users back in May.

“They can buy load and at the same time, indirectly make a small donation to help the country’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Precy P. Katigbak, First Vice President and Head of National Key Accounts at Smart.

“As we continue to shift most of our transactions online in order to practice social distancing, we hope that through these partnerships, we can provide more convenient ways for our customers to access our load and other services,” Katigbak added.

Load and gadget delivery service

Aside from online stores, subscribers may also purchase their Smart Bro Prepaid LTE Pocket WiFi through the Grab App via GrabMart. They can also purchase and have their Smart Prepaid SIMs delivered to their homes via Grab Assistant or Lalamove purchase service from partner retailers, supermarkets, and convenience stores that remain open to serve the public during this time of crisis.

Beginning August, customers may also buy Smart, TNT, and Sun e-load and call cards, Smart Bro LTE Pocket Wi-Fi, and SIM cards via LalaFood and FoodPanda.

In addition, Smart and TNT subscribers may also use The SM Store’s Call to Deliver and MemoXpress Door2Door delivery service to purchase communication and connectivity essentials such as mobile data cards and pocket Wi-Fis.

Customers can also conveniently purchase e-load at the ATM facilities of partner banks or through their online banking services. For the full list of the banks, visit stay.smart.
