HMD Global made it's way to bring another budget smartphone via Nokia C2 in the Philippines. So is it worth it for Php 3799? Here's our verdict.
With the Android Pie Go Edition, entry-level Unisoc based octa-core processor and only 1 GB RAM, we were happy that Nokia C2 still able to pull it off from simple opening of basic apps. Yes, the phone already has some "Go" related apps like Maps Go, Google Go and Gmail Go which helped us to check for some important stuff like emails and destinations even as we rocked a budget phone

Those are the few things to check when you boot the device for the first time including to enable the face unlocking . The feature was kinda slow so we chose to use the PIN for opening the device
Connectivity problem was not a problem for us in LTE (mobile data), WiFi at 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, texts and calls. No surprise with that history of Speadtrum (now Unisoc) adding the C2 in the long list of phones without an OTG support. In storage, you will gonna get over 12 GB of remaining app spaceot of 16 GB ROM.
On benchmarks, Nokia C2 scored at 53250 . On sensors, Nokia C2 has 4 basic sensors from accelerometer, light, proximity and sound.
On extras, Nokia C2 has very good FM radio reception. Average quality on the sound via 3.5 mm audio jack while we don'r recommend that much on it's speaker. On video battery rundown test, it survived at 13 hours and 20 minutes. In real life usage, it was a good 24-hour phone for us on moderate usage with around 5 1/2 hours on average screen-on-time
On the cameras, we are going back to the basics with single rear and front cameras. The 5 MP back cam has f/2.2 while the 5 MP front at f/2.4 (at least might-be no more to those sensors with f/2,8 aperture). Both on indoor with proper lighting and in daytime environment, we noticed that it was best to use HDR on both cameras. Even from our selfies, HDR mode did some justice over the normal and with flash. Yes, you can have front flash for this budget smartphone.

Nokia C2 is at Php 3799 which is a rare sighting for a global brand at this price range which most of local brands are dominating. With the asking price, it was just right for the camera, having LTE. dual sim and Android Pie Go Edition inside of this device. Some might not like for only having 1 GB RAM on this one but as long as you use lite versions of various Android apps (there are also FB Lite and Twitter Lite), it was a good to go. For us, it's 4 out of 5 for Nokia C2
