We were still on lockdown but we love brands like Huawei who is helping us to still bring some unpacking like this one which is situated at under 10k.
Meet the Huawei Y7 which is also known in Huawei Y7 2019 in other countries. We got the official commercial unit and it looks like this.
The 6.26 inch HD+ notched display was decent enough for the asking as well as the acceptable size of bezels. The UI might be a lil throwback of something but yes as it is still EMUI based on Android Oreo. You can check the rest of the specs of Huawei Y7 thru our previous post here
At the back, we can still have that gradient design language on the device as well as the dual main cam system and rear fingerprint reader.
On the left, there's the dual nano SIM + micro SD tray. speaker, ,mic and micro USB port at the bottom and 3.5 mm audio jack, a bit surprising noise cancelling mic and audio jack at the top plus volume rocker and power/unlock button at the right.
The box also comes with a 5V 2A charger, user manual, warranty card, micro USB cable, earphones and protective case
A welcome development as we got this from the courier, it was still at EMUI 8.1 but a huge 2.89 GB update brought this phone into at EMUI 8.2.
