Despite all of the possible price postings, it is a lot better to see it in the flesh as Huawei Philippines had their official introduction of Huawei Y7p, their first Y smartphone with these: 48 MP primary camera and punch hole display.

Here is the front view of Huawei Y7p with it's punch hole HD+ display. It was not in the picture as it was also the first Y smartphone release without Google Play as they are strongly promoting the Huawei AppGallery for your must-need apps. The size of bezels all around the phone were on the balance and it was quite pleasant for a budget high midrange device.
Happy to know that they were able to put in noise cancelling mic at the top; 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB port with 10 watt charging and single speaker at the bottom, volume rocker and power/unlock button at the right and dual nano SIM + micro SD tray at the left section.
As we never that much changes on it's EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie, we jumped right in the camera section and see how does thet 48 MP primary camera works. We seen it already in a number of Huawei phones as you have to enable the 48 MP in camera settings which not that much of a hassle (and you cannot use the zoom function). Happy to know that for rear camera, you can shoot in H.265 codec and FHD at 60 fps. How I wish they also included 720p at 60 fps too. The camera app was almost jampacked with respectable pro mode (ISO up to 3200 and up to 30 fps), HDR and light painting. You can check our lil 12 vs 48 MP rear camera samples which based on our flower bouquet as the subject, we can see some differences in quality when you zoomed at the violet "spiked" leaves. Image processing speed was also very good so far
