Before, they were also known for their Next-Image Awards. Now, Huawei is expanding into a video competition worldwide as they are encouraging their users to join in the ongoing Huawei Film Awards.
At their by-invitation event last night, they had known directors in the industry like Pepe Diokno and Sid Maderazo as they presented their short video masterpieces using Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Not just an ordinary video, Huawei Philippines also had a collaboration with known local indie artist Reese Lansangan for the music video of the song "Wildwood" (which you can see at the embedded video below)
You can send your entries as you can shot in either 9:16 or 16:9 shot on a Huawei smartphone, reading the terms and conditions and filling up th application form. Video formats can be either .mp4 or .mov in Full HD. The full details are at https://consumer.huawei.com/ph/campaign/film-awards/
The best short film entry will have awarded with a huge USD 20,000 so you can still send your entry until February 25 2020 at 11:59 pm (GMT +8)
