HUAWEI Mobile Services (HMS) celebrates the start of a brand new year by sharing various gifts and rewards via its AppGallery Festival. From 1st to 31st January 2020, Huawei users can receive a wide range of perks such as vouchers from selected app partners, HUAWEI Points and HUAWEI smartphones.
AppGallery is the official app market on HUAWEI smartphones that comes preloaded since April 2018. From AppGallery, users can search and download mobile apps from 18 different categories including Games, Education, Lifestyle, Daily Essentials, and Shopping.
Under the theme called “New Year, New Start”, AppGallery Festival provides deals from leading apps such as Agoda, Lazada, SHAREit and VIU, as well as popular local apps like Booky, Cashalo, GCash, OWTO, SSS Mobile and more. This festival includes three main promotions – ‘Download Apps & Get HUAWEI Points’, ‘Receive New Year Gifts at the Gift Center’ and ‘Play & Win HUAWEI Smartphones’; users can join the events through the AppGallery app.
Download Apps and Get up to PHP 800 worth of HUAWEI Points
During the campaign period, when downloading selected apps in the AppGallery, users will be rewarded with 50 HUAWEI Points worth PHP 50 from each participating app.
In Philippines, there are 16 apps participating in this event, where users can redeem up to 800 HUAWEI Points in total. The HUAWEI Points received can be used for in-app purchase (IAP) on HMS products including on the AppGallery, Themes, Mobile Cloud, and more.
New Year Gifts Available on the AppGallery’s Gift Center
Besides free HUAWEI Points, users can also claim app vouchers and gift packs from the ‘Gift Center’ on the AppGallery. The gift package includes one month free VIU Premium subscriptions, two months iFlix VIP subscriptions, seven days CamScanner subscriptions and more.
Play Games and Win HUAWEI Smartphones
Players of Guns of Glory, Jellipop Match, Mobile Royale, Rise of Kingdoms and Saint Seiya will stand a chance to win HUAWEI smartphones by buying in-game items and pay through HUAWEI In-App Purchases (IAP).
This event is divided into three phases and open to gamers in Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. The top 30 spenders across the four participating countries will win a HUAWEI smartphone.
The first phase will run from 1st-7th January 2020 with Nova 5T as the prize. The smartphone prizes for Phase 2 (8th-14th Jan) and Phase 3 (15th-31st Jan) will be revealed on the starting date of each phase.

2. Play and purchase in-game items
3. Pay via Huawei IAP with Bank Card (credit/debit) payment method
4. Participants can spend on more than one game to accumulate the spending amount
5. The top 30 in-game spenders across the participating countries will win a HUAWEI smartphone
