First of it's kind, we requested for it for months and finally, Globe allowed us to check out the interesting Globe Streamwatch Xtreme Prepaid

Have a look of the the device at all of it's sides complete with the necessary outputs, manual and 12 V 2A adapter, remote. We noticed that the antennas are non-detachable which is sort-of disadvantage for us.
Using it as router, the range is a lot wider in terms if you will gonna put in a big house compared to competition. Of course, it is best to use it with a strong Globe signal. You can load Globe Homesurf promos ranging from 15 pesos a GB up to 1499 pesos. In terms of overall promos, the competition so far has more superior offers.
Using it as a digital TV box, it is one of the best that we used as we liked the display indicator and the signal reach. Of course, you cannot get those exclusive TV Plus channels but as we checked from the same test site that we checked Easy TV in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, it can do wonders even with a strong 3rd party DTV antenna that we used
Using it as an Android box, it is one of the smoothest that we checked with that almost stock Android launcher. It has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM and an Amlogic based processor but it was good enough to go back and forth from various apps that we had more fun to use it with it's remote rather than our usual go-to of wireless keyboard and mouse. It also has Google Assistant which you can use it's mic on the remote. Disdavantage that you can only use it online using the Homesurf promo that it is inside the Globe device. You cannot connect using another WiFi connection or thru LAN port
When we reviewed it at Php 2,999 since it's launch, it was a-ok rather than to buy a separate and probably almost non-functional Android TV box, a non-TV Plus DTV box for under a thousand and prepaid router but as of now that they are selling it for Php 1,999 (until March 31 2020), we love Globe Streamwatch Xtreme Prepaid for the smooth Android interface, wider wireless coverage and interface. We do not like that you cannot connect to other solutions other than the Globe Homesurf promos if you are only using it online using Android TV. For us, it's gonna be 4 out of 5.
