Those who are into flagship Android phones are already anticipating on what's next after the Snapdragon 855+ and earlier, Qualcomm answered it at their annual tech summit earlier.
They announced the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 which both will have 5G connectivity.
Not that much details as of this time but SD 865 will be paired with Snapdragon X55 modem which will probably do better up/down internet speeds versus the X50 modem. It can also support mmWave and sub- 6 GHz 5G networks.
Meanwhile, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 will be it's 5G integrated. From the source link, it also mentioned that OPPO will be introducing it's flagship smartphone this Q1 2020 using the said flagship SoC.
