Last night, Honor Philippines came out with their latest X and their first one with pop-up selfie camera solution via the Honor 9X, Of course, we never missed the chance to check out what to expect on this smartphone with full view display.
This is front view of Honor 9X. Compared to other full view display phones that we already seen in the past few months, this one has a bit thick top bezel but you can deny that Honor finally had this solution (no punch hole display in here) which can really benefit your possible entertainment and gaming needs. Hey, it has FHD+ display too in case you missed it.
We missed the part that once you take a pic on the back of Honor 9X, it will gonna have that X mark which is their another innovation in the number of handsets that we already saw with gradient-like finish. You have that triple main camera set-up and rear fingerprint sensor.
For us, it was a clean look at the rest of the sides with dual nano SIM + micro SD slot (now up to 512 GB compared to Honor 8X at 256 GB), volume rocker, power/unlock button, the pop-up selfie camera, 3.5 mm audio jack, speaker and USB Type C which is a welcome change compared to it's predecessor with micro USB solution.
We saw a white pulldown menu at this EMUI version inside Honor 9X, Out of 128 GB internal storage, we can say that it has less bloats than usual and a picture as a proof that the version for the Philippines will be at 6 GB RAM.
We chose not to dig that much for now on the camera UI for now as we already saw it as the same as to camera UI based on EMUI 9.1 with almost all of the available camera modes with AI, beauty, HDR, document scan, various portrait options and our fave, pro mode. For now, we will gonna put on these camera samples on default mode which what to expect on the 48 MP primary sensor (at f/1.8) and 32 MP selfie shooter (at f/2.2)

Honor 9X will be on pre-order this November 29 to December 6 2019 on Lazada Philippines and get a free JBL Go BT speaker for Php 12,490. A day after, you can buy it at the same price and get a free Honor Band 5 sport (although we have to confirm if that freebie will be available on both Lazada and their booths/stores as well as their partner dealers)
