Team of IeSF. The team will be competing on December for the 2019 International Esports Federation’s Grand Finals in Seoul.
The IeSF’s mission is to further esports on a global scale, which they do through national federations in different countries around the world. IeSF’s activities culminate with the Grand Finals of their international tournament. IeSF has over 50 member nations, who will all be fighting for gold in Seoul, South Korea.
AGON Monitors helped find the best competitors to represent the country in the upcoming tournament. The Philippine qualifiers for IeSF started early this October, in five key locations across the country. AOC Monitors is the 2019 IeSF Philippines Designated Esports Monitor.
For Tekken 7 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, the qualifiers were held at the PlayBook Video Game Lounge + Bookshop in Circuit Makati.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 saw the champion 3ND.Joben hit the goal to become the country’s sole representative for the sport.
Meanwhile, dozens of gamers flocked the game lounge for the Tekken 7 tournament. In the Grand Finals, PlayBook stars AK and Doujin faced each other in an intense bout. In the end, Doujin got the better of AK, becoming the country’s bet in Tekken 7 for the IeSF.
For Dota 2, four separate qualifiers were held in four different locations. Steelwolves Justice became the representatives for TNC Bacolod Downtown. Sterling Global Dragons claimed the second spot for the qualifiers at TNC Sindalan. Execration emerged victorious at TNC Lerma. Finally, TEAM ESG from General Santos claimed the last slot for the qualifiers.
Execration would turn out to be the champions of the Dota 2 qualifiers, which makes them the country’s official representatives for the 2019 IeSF Grand Finals for Dota 2.
The Philippine team, composed of seven individuals, will be seeking gold in Seoul later this year in December. AGON will continue its support towards the Philippine team while they prepare for their next battle.
