Samsung, Grab Collab For That Enjoyable Ride

Filipinos spend a lot of time stuck in traffic. With not much left to do but sit and wait—especially during rush hour—commuters are forced to find inventive ways to stay entertained or be productive.

Have no fear, Samsung is coming to the rescue. Wanting to make every ride not just bearable, but an enjoyable time for all, Samsung has recently partnered with ride-hailing app Grab.

Through this collaboration, commuters can immerse themselves into a whole new entertainment experience with a Galaxy tablet in select Grab vehicles until end of October where Samsung’s recently launched tablets–namely, the Galaxy Tab S6 and Galaxy Tab A 8.0– are showcased. This happy addition allows riders not only to watch top-rated Netflix shows, but also inspire them to reimagine ideas through a first-hand experience of the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 even while on the road.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 comes in a portable design with a thin and light aluminum body. Riders can enjoy an engaging experience with the tablet’s 8-inch WXGA Clear Display and dual speakers, which are optimized for content consumption.

Riders can also choose from thousands of titles available on Netflix, following Samsung’s partnership with the global online streaming platform. Everything from popular shows like Black Mirror, Stranger Things, Street Food Asia, Love Alarm, The Politician, Insatiable, and Dark Crystal to full-length movies like Always Be My Maybe are available for viewing. Those traveling with children can rest easy as the device also comes with a Kids Mode so young passengers can watch age-appropriate videos and play fun games.

Heavy traffic might be a reality of life, but it need not be a bore. With Samsung Galaxy tablets, passengers can enjoy an immersive experience even as they make a long trip home.

Samsung Galaxy tablets including the Galaxy Tab S6, Galaxy Tab S5e, Galaxy Tab A 10.1, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 are all available in Samsung-authorized stores nationwide.
