A surprise move from Xiaomi Philippines as they were able to bring in these two new Redmi smartphones just days after it's first global introduction in India.
These are the Redmi 8A and Redmi 8A which have the same internals like MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie, Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, 8 MP f/2.0 front cam, true dual nano SIM card with dedicated micro SD slot, USB Type C and 5,000 mAh battery.
Redmi 8 specs have dual 12 (f/1.8, Sony IMX 363 sensor) + 2 (depth) MP main cameras with AI scene detection and Google Lens support 6.22 inch HD+ notched display with Gorilla Glass 5, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, rear fingerprint sensor and IR blaster plus P2i splash proof certified
Redmi 8A will have a slightly smaller 6.2 inch HD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5 and single 12 MP f/.1.8 main cam.
