Benilde, EAC Battle In NCAA Hado Pilipinas Tourney Finals

The technosport that has taken the nation by storm will enter its biggest stage to date at the NCAA HADO Pilipinas Tournament Final Battle this Friday (October 25), 6:30 pm on ABS-CBN S+A and iWant.

The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (CSB) Anigators and the Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Crim Pythons won in their respective semifinal bouts against the San Beda University Red Merly and Arellano University Hansamu last Friday (October 18) to make it to the inaugural HADO Pilipinas championship.

More than the victory, the Anigators and the Crim Pythons will be fighting for the right to represent the Philippines in the HADO World Championships in Tokyo, Japan this December.

In an interview prior to the Final Four match, the Anigators, composed of members Niccolo Perez, John Basoc, Jael Dango, Mika Lariosa, and Fiel Julo, revealed that they have used the perceived weakness of their team to snatch win after win and get a chance to become the first Filipino HADO champions.

Meanwhile, the Crim Pythons, made up of Kyle David Gamboa, John Dominic Baluran, Miles Edrian Arce, Alsher Escandar, and Benjamin Andres Dela Cruz, are dead set on defeating anyone that stood in their way to bring honor and glory to their school. However, in the spirit of sportsmanship, the team believes that even as they go for the championship, they still wish the best for their opponents.

Hado Pilipinas’ entry marks an innovation in Philippine sports from ABS-CBN’s subsidiary, ABS-CBN Themed Experiences, Inc., as the network continues to bring unique Kapamilya experiences in engaging and interactive themed attractions and activities, and has successfully gained a following when introduced as an experimental tournament in the NCAA’s 95th Season.

Don’t miss the HADO Pilpinas Final Battle this Friday (October 25) at 6:30 pm airing on S+A and S+A HD and iWant between the CSB Anigators and the EAC Crim Pythons.
