As you following on their latest teaser social media posts, Realme Philippines had something to tell about these words: 5 and quad.
We were lucky with select tech media as they brought in the upcoming Realme 5 Pro and to the extent that we got a chance to unpack it. Here is the retail box looks like.
That very thin top bezel. The front view has 6.3 inch FHD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5, 16 MP f/2.0 selfie cam with IMX 471 sensor. Underneath of it is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 octa-core processor and ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie. The display quality at first look is pretty good as well as that clean main page of their latest custom Android version.
We watched the global launch and just like what we saw in person, it was a joy in our eyes to see their crystal-like design and gradience in one slab and definitely, our fave color - crystal green. The back has the Realme branding in vertical direction and their quad 48 (main) + 8 (ultra wide) + 2 (macro) + 2 (depth) MP main cameras starring with it's Sony IMX 576 sensor plus rear fingerprint sensor.
The top portion has noise cancelling microphone and bottom part was quite busy with 3.5 mm audio jack, pin hole mic, USB Type C with VOOC 3.0 charging support and speaker.
The right portion has power/unlock button and the opposite side, dual nano SIM + micro SD tray and volume rocker
Here are the other things to expect including that phone case, user manual, charging and data cable and VOOC 3.0 capable charger
Here's a lil teaser at the RAM action at 8 GB RAM which is not heavy in terms of operation versus other counterparts. We also saw that the unit that we played at the venue was at 128 GB storage. A might-be sign that it will be the one or least one of the variants that Realme PH will gonna release soon. For those who did not know, there are 3 versions of Realme 5 Pro
We had limited time to play the cameras so we took straight to the 48 MP main cam and the selfies which we had high expectations for it's capable SoC and Sony sensor. That details to those small flowers and the bits of our spring rolls were evident. Our selfies also had a nice job in that bit yellowish lighting

One thing's for sure that Realme Philippines will gonna bring the Realme 5 Pro locally but asking about the launch date, availability and price? We do not have a hint yet but for sure you will gonna find out in our future blog post/s.
