We're done at probably one of the possible smartphones that you can maximize with it's 2 GB RAM/16 GB ROM combo that is rare on the under Php 3,000 price segment. Here's our verdict on Leagoo Power 2
We toned down our expectations on this phone as it only has Mediatek MT6580 quad-core processor but the 2 GB RAM/16 GB ROM choice with that almost untouched Android 8 Oreo helped us to at least navigate this device on light usage with ease. As you can see that the phone's UI even has the "slide up" type of app drawer. As the phone does not have LTE, we really relied our net connection thru WiFi which worked good. The rest were a-ok too from Bluetooth, calls and texts. The phone does not have OTG function
Out of 16 GB ROM, you will gonna get a very decent 12 GB of free storage which is more than enough if you are in a start up Android phone
On video battery rundown test, the phone survived at respectable 11 hours and 10 minutes with 3,000 mAh battery, 5 inch display and a bit old school 28 nm processor. Used it as a main driver for a number of days, a phone can last for a day as for light usage with 25% screen brightness and 4 hours of screen on time
Quite surprising that Leagoo Power 2 has a number of camera modes for it's price but as from our check, better to ignore it and stick to the auto mode rear cam with not that surprising f/2.8 aperture output. Not bad for the price as the pics that we got

Leagoo Power 2 price is at Php 2,799 thru Lucky HR is definitly one of the best under 3K smartphones that you can buy right now if you are already sick of the 1 GB RAM/8 GB ROM configuration and not having LTE connection is not an issue for you and quite servicable main camera for social media plus decent on the battery and connectivity departments. It's gonna be 4.25 out of 5 for Leagoo Power 2
