Realme made history as the world’s fastest-growing smartphone, registering a global shipment of 4.7 million units in Q2 2019 or an increase of 848 percent year-on-year.

With an established footprint in 20 countries, including China, Europe, India, Russia and countries in Southeast Asia, realme now has more than 10 million users globally.

Realme joins smartphone big players Samsung, Huawei and Apple in the list of the top 10 mobile phone manufacturers in the world after just a year of operations, as published in the mobile phone shipment report for Q2 2019 by Counterpoint, an international authoritative analysis institution.

A Tech Icon for the Young

The brand‘s rapid market growth lies in its firm understanding of its main market, the young consumer sector. Offering today’s youth an attainable, disruptive mobile experience drives Realme R&D and product innovations. The brand’s high-end technology and game-changer persona have become the benchmark for performance and design in every price segment it enters.

Sky Li, the founder and CEO of realme, said: "Realme's original intention was to create products that offer the young new and unique experiences. Our Dare to Leap concept is based on and supports this mission. We hope to reach young consumers with products that exceed their expectations on design, performance and quality.”

To show gratitude to fans around the globe, realme will offer more high-caliber devices, including the long-awaited camera smartphone with 64 million pixels and a high-end flagship equipped with Snapdragon 855 Plus.

Realme Philippines reflects the brand’s global growth with its recent string of wins: the month-long celebration of its brand month, the opening of its first concept store and the launch of its 100th kiosk. Realme continues to strengthen its retail foothold in the Philippines. With a total of 3,500 stores and 110 kiosks nationwide, the company is on track—50 percent accomplishment--to meet its target of 200 new stores and in 2019.
