Most of them only had this review on Android Oreo but we got the latest one in pie in one of the previous Nokia handsets that released locally. Here is our verdict on Nokia 6.1 2018 on Android Pie
Up to this point, they got the one of their first versions of Android 9.0 Pie which is kinda buggy overall even for that still simple multitasking that we threw in as well as the accuracy for the fingerprint reader. Good thing that in most parts in the connectivity department (except for the inconsistent mobile data)
The phone has good audio via 3.5 audio jack which is pretty standard in most of Qualcomm-powered smartphones that we had. Compared to the Oreo version, not that much changes in the UI. Quite stock.
In our video battery rundown test, Nokia 6.1 2018 in Android Pie only survived in 13 hours and 17 minutes. With a full HD display, 14 nm based SoC and 3,000 mAh battery, it was a-ok compared to it's competitors ranging as high as 4,000 mAh battery.. Using it as a main driver with around 5 hoors of screen on time with heavy usage, it can survive for us in a day.
On camera, Nokia 6.1 2018 on Android 9 Pie had the usual camera basics from auto and HDR on both cameras which also share the same aperture at f/2.0. We do not recommend to use the HDR feature as it was not that consistent to use especially in night shooting for some reasons. Somehow, the auto shooter is bit more than useful for social media as well for the selfies.

If Nokia 6.1 2018 in Android Pie chose to stuck on it's Php 14,990 intro price as of this day, it is definitely not a good buy but recently it went down as much as Php 6,990 which can be a considerable thing if you still want a considerable Qualcomm-powered smartphone at this price. One thing of concern for me if they already fixed their Android Pie approach (no news just yet if they will gonna bring an Android 9.1 OTA) but with the arrival of Nokia 3.2 with almost the same power yet brand new at Php 2,000. A-ok camera, good audio and battery were the remaining strengths of this device. For us, it is only 3 out of 5 for the Nokia 6.1 2018 in Android 9 Pie.
