Taiwan Excellence Continues To Bring More Innovative ICT To PH

Taiwan thru the Taiwan Excellence platform continues to bring in established ICT brands in the Philippines to introduce more innovation in their ongoing showcase happened at Marriott Manila.



The said country is known to be a a vital place for global IT supply chain and an important partner in most of the tech-related brands that we know like Microsoft, Apple and Google.




Led by Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) , the experience landed this time at the Asia IoT Business Platform (AIBP)


The brands that we saw include the industrial SSDs of Apacer, the latest industtial automation tech from ICP DAS, communication innovator Aver and IEI Integration Corporation who is known for industrial computers.


From a statement by Wen-Chung Chang, Director of the Economic Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines “We see progress in the Philippines’ ICT sector and Taiwan will be happy to contribute to this growth and help Filipino enterprises further succeed in their operations."
Taiwan continues to surge higher in the global technology scene as they moved a notch higher from last year to No. 16 in global competitiveness according to International Institute for Management Development (IMD)


On the presentation floor in order: Arnulfo Dimayuga of Accton, Apacer Account Manager Mike Wang, Aver Sales Manager Revic Jocson, ICP DAS Co Ltd. Deputy Director Joyce Yeh and IEI Group Sr. Product VP Don Yu






With these range of technologies that leads to that buzz word IoT, it could generate from 3.9 to 11 trillion US dollars by year 2025
