One of their first 5G smartphones to be introduced globally had a sneak peek a few days ago from Vivo but we just had a better chance inside of their HQ

Not just an ordinary 5G phone, it is buttonless and portless means no opening at all. The power/unlock button has a haptic feedback if you are about to turn on the device. The volume buttons are on screen and you will have to do an upward gesture to appear those software-based buttons.
As you can see, looks like it is not a final design yet as there's no Vivo branding in here. See that Pogo or Motomod-like ports? It is the way to charge the phone. On data sharing, they have their own WiShare technology which acts like on EasyShare does. As there are no openings, Vivo APEX 2019 will be in an e-sim solution
We also saw the black version. We had a gllimpse of the Funtouch OS of it but we chose not to put in photos as the UI might change too. No official words yet if Vivo Philippines will gonna release the APEX 2019 here but they brought the device here to showcase it to us and to the rest of local tech media.
