The Nova smartphone line from Huawei continues with their announcement earlier in China, the Huawei Nova 5 series.
Huawei Nova 5 Pro specs include Kirin 980 SoC, 6.39 inch OLED FHD+ display, quad 48 (main) + 16 (wide angle) + 2 (depth) + 2 (macro) MP camea set-up, 32 MP selfie cam, 8 GB RAM and 4,000 mAh battery with Huawei 40 watt Supercharge support. Prices start at $435 (128 GB) and $500 (256 GB). There's also a Limited Edition of it with special purple Freelace earphones at $50 dollars more. It ships this June 28.
Meanwhile, the first Kirin 810 processor 2 Cortex A76 cores at 2.27 GHz, 6 Cortex A55 cores at 1.88 GHz with Mali G52 MP6 GPU) comes in the (standard) Huawei Nova 5 with the same specs sheet as to the Pro version. It is priced at $435 with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM.
The most budget friendly on the said smartphone series is obviously the Huawei Nova 5i still with quad main cameras but different at 24 (main) + 8 (wide angle) + 2 (depth) + 2 (macro) megapixels, Kirin 710 processor, punch hole display, rear fingerprint reader, 128 GB storage and 4,000 mAh battery with 18 watt charging support. It will be in Black, Amber Red and Sea Blue at $290 (6 GB RAM) and $320 (8 GB RAM)
