It was the first Snapdragon 712-powered smartphone to arrive here in the Philippines as they are trying to beef up their 2019 high midrange device line-up
Here on what to expect on the official retail box of Xiaomi Mi 9 SE.
We were lucky to check out on what's inside the box of the Mi 9 SE with cable, USB Type C to 3.5 mm audio jack dongle, case, user manual and quick charging travel adapter with variations of 9V 2A and 12V 1.5 A (18 watts, indeed)
Meet the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Yes, there is a notch but good thing that they put in a 5.97 inch Samsung AMOLED FHD+ display in here which are pleasing. Nothing to talk about on the UI as it was still the latest MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie
Here's the look on that triple main camera set-up and that quite shiny back cover. One concern that we checked? That camera bar bump but that provided protective is on the rescue
The top has noise-cancelling mic and IR blaster while at the top, a speaker, pin hole microphone that also looks like the speaker and USB Type-C. As you already saw in the unboxing, expect no headphone jack on this device.
A closer look on the left and right sides of Mi 9 SE with the presence of dual SIM + micro SD tray, volume rocker and power/unlock button.
With our lil time to play on this device, we took for some the main camera sample and the selfie. Quite not a surprise for this segment as both sensors have f/2.0 aperture. Pretty accurate colors and on-the-spot contrast. On the AI selfie pic, I think MI 9 SE has blown out a bit on our face but who knows, we might gonna have a better pic if those enhancement/s were off.

From our surprise, there was also a 6 GB RAM/128 GB ROM version of Mi 9 SE priced at Php 17,990. A reasonable Php 2,000 additional compared to on what we played on this article. We are still verifying if this will only be available in Mi authorized stores around the metro as we checked it as of this time on Lazada Philippines, they only have the 6 GB RAM/64 GB ROM version
