Last weekend, we witnessed two events in one for Xiaomi Philippines with it's exclusive distributor Grimalkin Corporation somewhere in Manila Chinatown area
Mi 9 is available in the Philippines for Php 22,990 (6 GB RAM/64 GB ROM) and Php 24,990 (6 GB RAM/128 GB ROM)
We seen a number of store openings from Mi Store Philippines but it was special as they also put in a smartphone launch - Xiaomi Mi 9 in time for the first day of their newest branch in Lucky Chinatown Mall
The store is located at the third floor of the said mall and as expected, a lot of Mi fans trooped in the line to be one of the firsts to get some freebies and also catch up with the first day promo which they are selling the Mi 9 at 10% off the SRP plus a Mi Bluetooth Speaker freebie. For some, they were there to with the ongoing high demand of Redmi Note 7
The store might be the smallest so far the number of available items are still huge and it was a strategic place for Manilenos
We also had a chance to see the first ever Mi 9 buyer in the Philippines which he bought the 6/128 variant and not just that, he also bought a Redmi Note 7 128 GB version too
We jumped at the Mi 9 local launch which it was our official comeback to a Mi phone launch since the Redmi 1s announcement. Of course, one of their presentors showed the main capabilities and selling points of Xiaomi's newest flagship
