More than a week ago,we brought the news that we observed in almost five that MyPhone Digital TV and it's companion app is not currently working on smartphones with Android Pie . Looks like MyPhone was quick to respond and here's the update
Last night from our curiosity, we saw an Google Play app update from our current review unit OPPO F11 Pro that there's a new MyPhone Digital TV app update (yes, they appeared once again in Google Play) and the version 5.15 said that this update is to address our concern that we mentioned earlier so we installed it both on the said smartphone and another Android 9.0 smartphone with Funtouch OS which is Vivo V15 Pro
It was a huge change as they also brought back the new UI that we seen first from their only second app update. As you can see at the pics above, we were able to get the channels perfectly (of course, it depends on signal availability) thru the auto search perfectly

We also noticed a huge jump on ABS-CBN's DTV signal at ful strength which we noticed in most parts of Metro Manila. We will try our best to check out on other phones with custom UI and stock versions of Android 9.0 Pie so stay tuned
