Recently, Honor Philippines laid in their first Snapdragon 632-powered smartphone in the country with the Honor 8C and we did not leave the venue without some hands-on of it.
Here is the front view of the Honor 8C and it has some charm in us aside from it's lower price tag over the Honor 10 Lite coz it has front flash too which we can forgive for it's notched display. The 6.2 inch display was decent as well as the size of the bezels
This is the back side of the device with the dual main camera, Honor branding and rear fingerprint sensor. The back cover is less glossy for us which brings a bit more on the grip and again edging it versus the Honor 10 Lite
The usual set-up that we seen on most of the smartphones that we seen in the past few months: dual SIM + micro SD slot tray in the left, power/unlock button and volume rocker at the right
Even at this price, they still put in that noise-cancelling mic and 3.5 mm audio jack at the top. Bottom view has pin hole mic, micro USB port and speaker
The main sensor on it's dual main camera set-up has f/1.8 aperture while for selfies, it's f/2.0 . We can say for now that it is decent enough. As you can see from our selfie sample, definitely it does not have that wide angle view even with our arms length
