Now You Can Do Bank Transfer Thru Gcash

For sure, you share some pain points of sending or putting that money to you or any other person's bank account mainly with the traffic, the long lines, possibly the nearest bank is too far from your place, it falls on a weekend or worst case, those extra charges if you need to deposit to an account which is outside NCR (if you are from the metro) and vice versa. Good thing, the nation's leading mobile banking service GCash is on the rescue

Rolled out as early as late last year but it was fully operational right now, GCash was proud to announce that you can send money from your GCash account to over 30 banks in the Philippines. To name a few, the likes of BPI, BDO (yes, say goodbye to those additional fees), Metrobank, Landbank, Chinabank and others and the great news? It's for free

It was a welcome development to the app as Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas expected that there will be 20% of financial transactions will be done electronically.

From a statement by Mynt President and CEO Anthony Thomas "Fund transfers used to be a long, bogging process where customers will just wait for their turn on the cashier just to have money delivered onto another account. With Gcash's new feature, over 15 million customers can now transfer funds to more than 30 banks for free and without taking any hours. This convenience combined with all of the services available in the GCash app makes for a perfect all-in-one financial tool for all Filipinos. It also ties back to GCash's mission of financial inclusion in the Philippines."

If you have the GCash app in your smartphone, just tap the bank transfer icon, select the bank and input the necessary details and that's it. If you don't have a GCash app yet, it is better to have it right now and another great thing, any SIM can register to it - Globe, TM, Smart, Sun, TNT - you're welcome. GCash app is free to donwload on Google Play and App Store
