I knew most of San Pedro, Laguna in terms of unique food tripping in the stretch of Pacita Complex (which even stretches up to Binan area) but there was also a place named Rosario Complex which is just very near to Southwoods and the newly opened mall there. This cafe shop was a perfect gateway to us
I got the knowledge of Cafe Tribu when I had a stroll in various parts of Batangas province (surprising that it has over 300 branches around the country as you can check some branches thru Zomato) . No wonder that one of the franchise owners Camille Midua (tandem with her mom) chose to bring the popular local cafe brand in Rosario Complex
I am happy on the independence that Cafe Tribu is giving in to their franchisees. If the Lipa branch has their unique Mango Float Frappe, for me one of the gems of this branch is having variety of value meals that you can dine in with choice of tea or frappe together with their wide choices of finger foods ranging from nachos, chicken fingers, fish and chips, etc
We already seen a number of establishments located at the second floor so no wonder on this one. The place can fit of around 15 persons with quite strong WiFi access. In terms of frappes, teas and drinks, the prices were affordable and more savings indeed if you will gonna go on those value meals
Some of the menu that I ate and drank:
Wicked Oreos which is one of their unique creations. Oreos battered, fried and partnered with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzles of choco syrup
Their own take on fish (on bite sizes) and fries. They represented the one with cheese seasoning but you can also request for unflavored version or 3 other choices including BBQ and sour cream
The Matcha Freeze Frappe (which was our first pick when we played their Coffee Speed Date game which I had a partner with a girl which also got the same drink). Do not be fooled at the color as we really got the matcha taste in here with the right amount of sweetness and creaminess
The debut of their Cappucino Mocha Mint (no price yet but we will gonna update you soon, you can also choose the hot version) . As I got matcha, it was a lifesaver for me that day as for my daily dose of caffeine in the afternoon and with a kick of mint. At first, you can taste the mint but after that, you can smile with the perfect balance of mocha and capuchino in here
Onion Rings with dip
Salted Caramel Mocha which I only had a chance to take a pic. It was also one of the branch's exclusive specialties (for sure we will gonna do a visit soon)
