While the phones are not that much in the flow in the first few days of year 2019, it's been a while since we checked out an Android tablet so we checked something from Huawei
They are parading the Mediapad for a number of years but it was only at this time that we have some time to check out one especially this has four Harman Kardon-powered speakers scattered around the device - meet the Huawei Mediapad M5 Lite and this is the box
For those who are looking at the specs, you can check out our previous article here . Here is the front view of the device with the EMUI main page quite evident in here. I like the Huawei brand placing that they did. We can't help but to compare the home/fingerprint sensor from another tablet competitor based in Korea. The size of the bezels are quite respectable for us and the display is quite very good. The box comes with Huawei's Quick Charge adapter which has 9V 2A output. We are curious on how does it fair on the tablet's 7,500 mAh battery
The back has it's rear camera, Huawei logo and it's non-removable cover. For us, it was a minimalist approach which is not a problem
If you are facing the tablet on landscape form, the left side has micro SD tray and USB Type-C port (Huawei Mobile Philippines confirmed that they will only gonna sell the WiFi-only model locally and volume rocker, power/unlock button at the opposite side which I am not a fan of it. The top has some holes which might be for the accessory cover. Both at the top and bottom, there are 2 Harman Kardon speakers
Huawei Mediapad M5 Lite is currently selling here at Php 18,990 . Does the price tag as well as on the specs sheet will give it's justice for you to purchase this device? Find out soon in our review
