While we are still on it's way for the "10 Lite", here's our verdict of Honor Philippines' biggest phablet release yet - Honor 8X
On the UI, no stranger for us with the latest EMUI 8 that you might seen in the number of Huawei and Honor devices. With Kirin 710 processor and 4 GB RAM, it was almost a smooth sailing experience in the number of days that we used it as a daily driver. Connectivity was very good from calls, texts, mobile data, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. Coming off from Honor Play, it was a pleasure that we are rocking a true blue dual SIM on this device
On battery with it's 3,750 mAh inside and 6.5 inch display, the phone lasted in 17 hours and 10 minutes in our video battery rundown test which is pretty impressive. Using it as a main driver on heavy usage and 6 hours of screen on time, it usually gave us between 1.25 to 1.5 days of usage. Pretty good.
On extras, we love to know that the Honor 8X also supports Qualcomm APTx codec support on Bluetooth which is a plus with given good output on it's 3.5 mm audio jack
We will gonna skip on the camera UI as you can expect the same with the likes of Nova 3i but this 8X is definitely had steps ahead of Nova 3i in terms of camera quality on both cameras (even Honor Play) especially on the main shooter and a well-implemented bokeh effect

Honor 8X is definitely one of the most recommendable high-midrange phones that we can say at under 15k with it's huge display, dual SIM, processor, just the right camera quality and price plus the built too. I think the major con that might encounter, that it will not be a one-hand smartphone for those with small hands. It's 4.25 out of 5 for us for Honor 8x
