We are getting not-on-time review units of this international phone brand in the past few months but not on this one especially that we just over a month away to year 2019
Once again, the guys from Huawei Mobile Philippines gave us the trust to unpack their latest on their Y series, the Huawei Y9 2019
For now, we have the front view with the device off as you know it, you will gonna see the EMUI which might you have already seen in a number of Huawei and Honor smartphones but the smaller notch is something we appreciate. As we are still in the process on Honor 8X, we became no stranger to it's 6.5 inch FHD+ display which is pretty much still capable for one-hand navigation, thanks to what you will gonna see later at the sides
We brought in the Sapphire Blue in our workstation. It is a breather for now with a slew of smartphone review units that we had with gradient colors. Compared to the previous history of their Y series, this is for us the most beautiful in the phone line-up so far. Of course, you can see the Huawei and AI camera markings, fingerprint sensor plus the dual main camera system and flash
Some might compare this one with the smaller Nova 3i but this smartphone might gonna have a run for the money at Php 3,000 less mainly coz it has a true blue (no pun intended) dual nano SIM + dedicated micro SD slot in one tray. The top part has noise-cancelling microphone, right portions have power/unlock button and volume rocker and at the bottom speaker, pin hole mic (that also looks like the speaker and micro USB port (which is ok as we are not expecting the said phone series to jump in at the USB Type C race yet) with 5V 2A charging support. One thing to praise about this Y smartphone? The curves!
The package comes with a TPU case, user manual, warranty, earphones, USB to micro USB cable and travel charger
