The time has come for us earlier at their official announcement of Cherry Mobile's newest smartphone series but first, we looked at the "standard" edition.
This is Cherry Mobile Flare S7 at the front. As expected from the change in Flare S6 Deluxe, they put in an 18:9 display in here. You can check the rest of the specs here
The back view's improved compared to the previous which looks more than it's asking price even though that the body was still made from plastic. The placing of their branding, dual main cameras and fingerprint sensor were good.
The curved sides are nothing new but alway a welcome thing. The right portion has volume rocker and power/unlock button. 3.5 mm audio jack the at the tp and speaker, USB Type C and mic at the bottom. We can't confirm just yet if this has USB oTG support
You may have a hint but Cherry OS is not visibe once again as they put in almost stock Android 8.1 Oreo from the pulldown menu, main page and the "pull up" gesture to reveal the app drawer. For this article, we checked the 3 GB RAM version in here with MT6737 processor - faster transitions indeed compared to FS6
The camera UI though was the main reason why we mentioned it as almost on the stock OS. The camera UI reminds us on the Cherry Cam. Good thing, you will not gonna see two camera apps anymore.
From the launch venue in Cyberzone area in SM Nortn Annex, the picture quality is decent and quite fast in terms of image processing. Both main shooters possess f/2.4 aperture.
