Vivo’s Notch Evolution – A Bold Showcase of the Future

Evolution of technical specifications are now vital for the growing number of tech-savvy Filipinos. Known for relentless innovation, Vivo keeps on shaping the future with their forward-thinking designs and functionality. Having invested in long-term research and development, the brand is committed to creating the ultimate mobile experience.

The global company showcases everything a smartphone of the future can be capable of. Introducing innovations in futuristic screens and designs through deleting the notch of the phone to allow consumers to experience a FullView™ Display is one of Vivo’s objectives in modernizing their products.

Not only does Vivo provide high- tech standards, but it also introduces futuristic phone designs. Its notch and screen advancements are progressive as showcased in the V9’s 6.3” 19:9 FullView™ Display and the X21’s 19:9 FullView™ Display.

The notch has morphed on an average of every three months this year. A fast-paced development is essential, as it mirrors their slogan: “Daring to pursue true perfection, while continuously creating the surprising.”

Vivo is the first global brand to introduce to the market the first smartphone with FullView™ Display, which removes the notch entirely. This was made possible through the Nex’s Ultra FullView™ Display with 6.59 Super AMOLED display and 19.3:9 aspect ratio. It bears an almost bezel-less display that attained a 91.24 percent of screen-to-body ratio. This is feasible by placing the needed sensors under the display, and changing the front camera in a way that it only raises from the phone’s body once it’s needed.

This year, Vivo has released the new V series smartphone, the V11, with another iteration of the notch — one that is significantly smaller, the Halo Notch. It has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 6.41-inch Super AMOLED Halo FullView™ Display with a 91.27% screen-to-body ratio. Its notch cut-out area was shrunk by moving the earpiece, which was previously inside the V9 and X21’s notches, to the top of the phone without creating a noticeable bezel.

The V11 is currently changing the game. It has In-Display Fingerprint Scanning technology that can accurately identify the user whilst keeping its sleek design. The mysterious black and striking blue of the Starry Night fusion color invoke the far-flung corners of the universe. The stunning blue and purple hues of the Nebula fusion color recreate the radiance of distant galaxies. In addition to the chip’s raw power, V11 comes with a 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM setup that is truly befitting of a flagship phone. The 6GB RAM delivers ultra-smooth performance, handling multiple large apps without breaking a sweat. The 128GB of storage saves users from the stress of running low on space.

The future is here and Vivo is certainly pioneering the way (PR)
