These are the top 5 smartphone brands in the Philippines in terms of shipment market share:
5. Huawei - Finally, we seen this Chinese brand on the top 5 in any given research firm with 12%. Surprisingly, not the Nova 2i was the main reason but their under 10k devices drove them at this position like Huawei Y6 and Nova 2 Lite
4. OPPO - Their wide range of A83 and the previous in the F series, OPPO F7 went well on this another smartphone brand from China
3. Vivo - The victorious rally of one of our fave under 10k smartphones of them, Vivo Y53 as well as this year's release of Vivo Y71 were the key components of their current success
2. Cherry Mobile - Still the only local smartphone brand standing on the top 5 with their current winning formula of their devices below 5k like the Flare J3 and Flare S6
1. Samsung - The Korean-based brand continues to flex their muscles in the market with a fifth of the total smartphone sales to the point that their entire Galaxy J series on that quarter got the 68% total sales
