Another year for IFA and Acer continued to put in their presence with newest Acer products showcased on the show floor at Berlin
First off is their well-known Aspire series. First off is Acer Aspire 3 (2018) with 14 inch FHD display, 8 GB DDR4 2666 MHz RAM, precision touchpad, Acer Bluelight shield, 1 HDMI port, 3 USB ports and DVD drive. Processor though is not yet stated as of this point
Next is Acer Aspire 5 (2018) with 8th Intel Core i7 processor, 7.82 mm bezel design, 15.6 inch Full HD display, Acer Color Intelligence and NVIDIA MX 50 GPU
Acer Aspire 7 (2018) definitely has more options to choose from with either Core i7 8705G or 8305G processor, Radeon RX Vega M Gl Graphics, 15.6 inch UHD display, measures 358 x 247.5 x 16.9 mm., 1.5 kg in weight, up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM, up to 52 GB PCIe NVMe RAID 0 SSDD, Dolby Atmos and Acer True Harmony technology
Acer Aspire Z 24 is their AIO PC solution with only 0.4 mm thickness., 8th Gen Intel Core i7 desktop processor, support up to 32 GB in Intel Optane, NVIDIA MX 150 graphics, 4 digital mics which is perfect for either Alexa or Cortana, 23.8 inch IPS FHD display and a V-shaped metal stand
Acer OJO 500 Mixed Reality Headset as for it's name but it is the first that both the lens and head strap can be indivually removed. It has interpupillary distance (IPD) wheel which aids for customized viewing alongside with a companion mobile app. There are 2 front-hinged 2.89 inch 2880 x 1440 resolution at 100 degrees on this device plus 90 Hz refresh rate
Last one on the batch is new PL and SL series projectors with PL6610 (WUXGA), PL6510 (FHD), SL6610 (WUXGA) and SL6510 (FHD). Their laser projectors can deliver up to 30,000 hours in operation, 5,000 lumens, up to 1.6x zoom plus 2 built-in speakers. The PL6610 is the only one in the batch with HDBaseT input which has a single cable to send and receive audio and video, ethernet, controls and power which means say goodbye to clutter. On LAN, it can go up to 100 meters
