Before the Y85 and Y81, Vivo Philippines this first handset this 2018 in the Y series which we were already done on our verdict on the Vivo Y71
The one that we had is the 3 GB RAM. As with the previous Vivo smartphones that I had, I am no stranger with their Funtouch OS based on Android Oreo. With the SoC inside, it reminds me of Vivo Y53 but it has a slight edge for me given that I had the one with 3 GB RAM inside. For the riders, you will gonna love the motorcycle mode on this handset
On connectivity, Y71 had done it in terms of calls, texts, mobile data, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and OTG support. No problems during the week that I used it as a main driver. Bonus that it has true dual SIM support
What I don't like on the custom UI is the baggage of bloatware as from it's 16 GB internal memory, it will only gonna give you around 7.2 GB of remaining space for apps
With SD 425 processor inside, it reached at over 45,000 on Antutu. Even at this budget handset, Vivo Y71 managed to have six out of 9 available sensors including gyro
The rear camera produces quite fine photos for the given price tag with correct colors as long as you are in a well-lit environment. Like on this price segment, expect that it will not that servicable in low light situations

Vivo Y71 is currently standing at Php 8,990 which probably it's closest competitor is the one from OPPO which is the 3 GB RAM version with twice the storage capacity and both powerful and battery-efficient SoC inside. There are not that much competitors yet from other global brands on this. If you are really into Team Vivo on a budget, this one is not that bad. I love that it is a phone for those riugged people, familiar Funtouch OS and having 18:9 display that will not break your wallet. I which that it will be for one thousand peso less. I will gonna give 3.75 out of 5 for the Vivo Y71 3 GB
