We were dones after weeks of it of this possible affordable alternative to the OPPO F7 by Php 4,000 less on SRP but is it a viable option
Here is our OPPO F7 Youth Review which compared to the standard F7, it has 18:9 display ratio which is not bad. Not that much difference in terms of color accuracy and in good angles too. If there is one common denominator, both of them have a fingerprint smudgy backing
Almost a no brainer in terms of our immersion with ColorOS of this and the same Mediatek Helio P60 octa-core processor F7 Youth was faster once again compared to the F5 but the usual sickness of the said custom OS is the RAM management which it could be better in my opinion. Imagine at first boot, the device will only gonna give you usually at 2.1 GB remaining out of 4 GB RAM
The F7 Youth did not give a headache in the connecitivity department from calls, texts, mobile data, WiFi, Bluetooth, OTG and GPS. As this handset does not have a fingerprint sensor, the face unlock tech is the fastest way to unlock the device which did wonders even in a low-light environment. The device was intelligent enough as it has an option to use the display as it will lit in those scenarios to be able to use the said secuirty feature
There is no compromise in the number of sensors at six including the gyro sensor and having almost 140k in Antutu in the benchmark department. In the audio section, as expected OPPO did their best on the 3.5 mm audio jack just like in most of their smartphones that I reviewed
On battery, I am happy that F7 Youth was very good in battery with it's 3410 mAh capacity and having a 12 nm processor, I usually got it in heavy usage in 1 1/2 days. In our video battery rundown yest, F7 Youth scored me at 17 hours and 55 minutes
On camera, the same UI on what you can expect on OPPO F7 with professional mode, bokeh and various filters that you can put in. When you shoot on auto HDR, it was as fast as to the regular auto mode but I chose to be on the latter. The output was pretty good for the asking price with color accuracy in almost any kind of environment, just the right blur when you are in a subject and fast image processing time. Selfie is also good too

If you do not mind to miss a fingerprint sensor and already contented to face unlock and still wants an F7 in terms of overall performance and battery life, the OPPO F7 Youth is your good-to-go. In terms of it's price to performance, this one is definitely a steal against this phone with Kirin 659 and another one with Exynos 7870 which we already seen from last year. The only downer for the F7 Youth for me is the RAM management which I wish I can make more use of it's 4 GB RAM for my multi tasking needs. I will gonna rate 4.25 out of 5 for the OPPO F7 Youth
