We did not get a media invite to this recent smartphone launch but thanks to the previous Taiwan Excellence 2018 happened last Friday, it filled up the queries and questions on this newest so-called Battery King that you might not gonna see anywhere else
Here is one of the hits in India this year and might-be locally, Asus Zenfone Max Pro. If you are looking for it's official specs, you can check our previous blog post here
The back cover with the dual rear camera reminds me a bit of Redmi S2 but the matte texture was from one of the most affordable smartphones back in the 4th gen of Zenfone. I like the bit-industrial black treatment on this.
Based on these camera shots that I had inside SMX Convention Center in SM Aura, the rear camera shots were fine but the front camera had some noise which brought me to reality that hey, this is only a under 10k smartphone. Camera processing speed is a-ok though

The right hand side has power/unlock button while at the left hand side, you can check dual nano SIM + micro SD slot on one tray. With this acceptable thickness, you can't believe that this packs 5,000 mAh battery inside

Just like in India, we got the stock-like version of Android Oreo which is quite refreshing especially for those who might be tired of ZenUI. That simple beauty is a wow factor for me. As we got the 32 GB ROM version, the bloats are kinda big for me as you will only gonna get less than 14 GB of remaining internal storage
The camera UI is bit of a throwback as I already seen this in a number of Qualcomm-based smartphones of a local tech brand (with those times of Snapdragon 400 and 410 32-bit) which is still fine for me as long as the camera output say as you will find out later. Only the basics are here for both the rear and front camera. No pro mode to expect on this one
