Last March, they had a small media event on it but yours truly and most of the readers want know more about it as probably the most popular go-to utilities center had their way into our smartphones
With some of their officials, they presented the newly-launch Bayad Center (BC) Mobile app and I promised to dig deeper on the app
Not just a branch directory app, BC mobile app also allows you to pay your usual utilities straight from the app via online banking or credit card. Rare these days in a local-based mobile app but they accept those prepaid based credit card including those known virtual-based credit cards that ou can run only via an app. BC mobile app has support to more than 30 companies including those provincial-based ones (like the Batangas-based BATELEC) and others. Depending on the payment option that you chose, there is a minimal fee which is not bad if you can compare it to the convenience that it might bring and also the commuting
When I heard about the app, I clarified on the map directory. It is running thanks to their Google Maps database and not just their outright Bayad Center branches but they will also gonna search the ones that are inside another store (for example, there are some Bayad Center branches inside LBC or USSC outlets). The app can do branch search via the nearest ones on your GPS or searching thru the search box.
Curiosity is as they are technically under the same umbrella as Paymaya (which is quite their competitior if you will gonna use their bills payment section) I asked them on their edges over it. It is clear that BC mobile app supports more utility companies and as an exclusive to this blog post, they will gonna launch the Bayad Center rewards card which is set this May 2018
Good to know that Bayad Center mobile app is here already as thru this, it will gonna bridge the gap on those places or provinces (or maybe those breadwinners who have some nightsihft jobs) that they canm pay their bills anytime, anywhere.
