Vivo V9: What's New?

Global smartphone brand Vivo has made its mark in the mobile industry with its trailblazing innovations. For instance, it was the first to introduce smartphones with an incredible 24-megapixel front camera in the V7 and the V7+ as a response to the growing, influential presence of the selfie generation.

Vivo continues leading the pack with the launch of its new flagship smartphone, the V9.

The Vivo V9 delivers AI-powered photography and mobile experience with a 90% screen-to-body FullView™ Display.

Remarkable AI Photography

The Vivo V9 has powered up its use of artificial intelligence to enhance its already topnotch photography. The new flagship smartphone has a 24MP front camera and 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera. But each shot is improved with AI technology including Face Beauty, High Dynamic Range, selfie lighting, bokeh algorithm, and Augmented Reality Stickers capabilities.

Extraordinary AI Face Beauty

The AI Face Beauty uses a database of almost one million facial images from all over the to determine users’ age, sex, skin tone, and texture--even surrounding lighting scenarios. This feature also saves a user's customized settings to automatically apply them for the next photo sessions.

Vivo V9 users can always put their best selves forward with the AI Face Beauty technology.

Enjoyable AR Stickers
The AR Stickers, meanwhile, provides various effects to put some flair in every selfie to encourage each Vivo V9 user to express themselves. The new flagship smartphone has over 40+ built in AR Stickers to choose from.

Boundless FullView™ Display

Without sacrificing its compact design, the V9 features a 6.3-inch screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Its screen size is 5.2% higher than the previous flagship smartphone, the V7+. Vivo also reduced the side bezels by 19% to a mere 1.75mm. These bezel reduction means a higher screen-to-body ratio of almost 90% for an unparalleled viewing experience.

Upgraded Game Mode

But Vivo has some more tricks up its sleeve. Known for being a gamer-friendly smartphone, Vivo has upgraded its Game Mode features that will allow gamers to block background notifications, reject calls, among other capabilities.

The Vivo V9 is powered by the latest Android 8.1 OS and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM and 64 ROM. Along with the Smart Engine, which intelligently allocates and optimizes processing resources according to your needs, the V9 ensures smooth and seamless experiences for gamers.

The AI Game Mode of Vivo V9 also allows gamers to talk to people while they are still playing their favorite gaming applications as long as they are connected to the Wi-Fi. It also has a Picture-In-Picture feature that allows gamers to use social messaging applications even in the middle of a play. Vivo V9 also has an improved gaming keyboard, which is a mini version of the TouchPal Keyboard.
