Shopee Philippines and Honor Philippines just finished on their formal announcement earlier but the day will not be complete for us without checking one of their two smartphones that will be part of their comeback here in the country.
This is the Honor 9 Lite in Shiny Blue. The rest of the specs are there in this link if you are in the look out
It's indeed shiny at the back that before I took this shot, I had to wipe it off but it is a beauty indeed for Php 7,990. Same placing though at the sides with hybrid dual SIM tray at the left and power/unlock button plus volume rocker at the right portion.
After I saw some from the UI and the first few minutes to dig on it with it's Kirin 659 processor, it can make stand out against some on the Huawei's camp like GR3 2017, GR5 2017 and Nova 2 Lite with the specs-to-price ratio alone. The pro mode with ISO range of 50 to 1600 is also a welcome addition to it. I wonder if this can be an affordable alternative in real-time pro photo shooting. One downer though (maybe since EMUI 8.0) that Honor also did not put in the 4G toggle button in thu pulldown menu.
Happy to know that there's a Honor 9 Lite that you can dash in your rear camera shots and the image processing speed is as fast as to what I experienced on Nova 2i in my review. In our venue inside Shangrila at the Fort, the image quality went pretty well. Again, this device is only Php 7,990

By the way, I found from one of the people behind the distributor company that's backing up Honor Philippines that the Php 7,990 will be only the flash sale price (I hope that it will be at the same price when it officially became available on a normal basis). Honor 9 Lite is in pre-order from April 25 to May 4, 2018 at Shopee Philippines and first 100 people will gonna get a free Php 250 gift voucher. Honor 9 Lite is available starting May 5, 2018
