While the launch is already on a roll, we can show our actual photos of Vivo's first full display smartphone
Here is the Vivo V9 and all of the official specs:
Front: 6.3 inch 2280 x 1080 display in 19:9 display ratio with Gorilla Glass 5, 24 MP selfie camera
Back: Dual 16 + 5 MP main cameras with flash, Vivo logo, fingerprint reader
Internals: Funtouch OS based on Android 8.1 Oreo, 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB ROM, Bluetooth 4.2 , WiFi, GPS and 3,260 mAh battery
Available colors are gold and black. I will go for the gold as the black was one on the list of phones that is prone to fingerprint smudges.
Nothing to check at the top as the bottom was quite full with single speaker, pin hole mic, 35 mm audio jack and OTG-capable micro USB port. We will have to verify it it has QC 3.P charging support
The left part has dual nano SIM and micro SD slots in one tray while it has the volume rocker and power/unlock button at the right portion
In terms of it's Funtouch OS , it had some slight tweaks compared in Vivo V7+. The noticeable button was the multiple task button which might help to my multi tasking woes. The main weakness for me on the V7 duo
As confimed on the camera app, there were some additions like AR selfie. The secondary rear cam is for bokeh effect which from the venue, we cannot execute properly which the aperture can be changed from f/0.95 to f/16. Both the rear and selfie cams have f/2.0 aperture and that Vivo V9 watermark. Image processing was pretty fast and from our low light place, it produced quite pretty photos

So far. what I like in the Vivo V9 is the vibrance of the 19:9 FullView display, the slim form factor and the much-improved Funtouch OS
Php 17,990 is the asking price of Vivo V9 which is for now that I am not yet convinced mainly as the V7+ has a newer processor inside via the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 and it is quite near on benchmark numbers but might be the full and bigger display and new Funtouch OS plus some little tricks might fill in the void.
